Shafali Varma created history during India\u2019s Women\u2019s Asia Cup 2026 clash against Pakistan in Dubai on Saturday, becoming the youngest player to score 3,000 runs in women\u2019s T20Is. The India opener reached the landmark at the age of 22 years and 220 days, surpassing Ireland\u2019s Gaby Lewis, who previously held the record at 24 years and 347 days.Shafali also became the fastest batter to reach 3,000 runs in women\u2019s T20Is in terms of balls faced, achieving the feat in just 2,182 deliveries. She is the 16th player overall to reach 3,000 runs in women\u2019s T20Is and the third Indian after Smriti Mandhana<\/a> and Harmanpreet Kaur<\/a>.<\/p>\n
