The multi millionaire has tackled every difficult chapter in his life, as his wife, <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/ayesha-curry\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ayesha Curry<\/a>, has stood by his side. But things were not always easy for the four time <a href=\"http:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/sports\/nba\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NBA<\/a> champion.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"6\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>Stephen Curry opens up about the time in his life when he had to tackle a difficult chapter as Ayesha Curry supported him<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with TIME, the star player Stephen Curry opened up about the most difficult phase of his life as he said, \u201cProbably the transition from high school to college. There was a lot of pressure being Dell Curry\u2019s son, growing up in Charlotte, being in ACC country. I was probably really small for an aspiring Division 1 athlete.\u201d<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"9\"\/>The Golden State Warriors&#8217; star player added, \u201cAnd I was looked over by pretty much every non low-D1 school. <!-- -->And it was kind of shock. I was a pretty good high school player, so it was kind of a weird dynamic. I really desperately wanted to play ACC basketball. Duke, North Carolina, Maryland, Wake Forest, all those schools, I never even got close to a call.\u201d<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"15\"\/>The four time NBA champion Stephen Curry continued, \u201cSo it was a disappointing moment, in the moment. I had to really trust that everything happens for a reason\u2014that God had a plan for me, other than what I wanted.
