Instead, he is accused of giving SNAP participants cash and keeping half of the proceeds.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"5\"\/>\u201cInstead of selling participants food, Bedi is alleged to have swiped their cards and given them cash,\u201d the FBI said in its wanted notice.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"9\"\/>Bedi was indicted on charges of wire fraud and SNAP benefits fraud but was allowed to appear in court without being arrested. He was ordered to surrender his passport and remain in Washington state. The FBI said he later drove into Canada and fled to India.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"11\"\/>A federal arrest warrant was issued for Bedi on May 21, 2026, in the US District Court for the Western District of Washington after he was charged with violations of conditions of supervision. The FBI said he is currently believed to be residing in India.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"13\"\/>The agency is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to Bedi&#8217;s arrest and conviction.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a
