<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\nUS President Donald Trump<\/a> on Thursday (local time) lashed out at people he described as “treasonous” over claims that the United States was running low on weapons amid its war with Iran, rejecting the reports.In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump maintained that the US has “virtually unlimited amounts” of ammunition.\u201cThe people and media outlets that keep harping on the fact that we have no ammunition (and they are 100% wrong!) are actually treasonous. They do it because they would rather see the United States LOSE a War that we\u2019re easily WINNING than see me WIN!\u201d he said, adding that the US has \u201cvirtually unlimited amounts of Mid to High Grade Ammunition,\u201d far more than it needs for this or any other conflict.Trump also highlighted US efforts to stockpile weapons for potential future contingencies.“We are stockpiling and preparing for any contingency that could happen. We are taking them for ourselves, the U.S.A., rather than selling them to others, but the sales to Allies will soon again,” he posted.Trump also claimed that his predecessor, Joe Biden, gave Ukraine more weapons at no cost than the current US administration has used during the war in Iran.\u201cHundreds of Billions of Dollars was given to Ukraine and NATO, free of charge, that Europe would have
