Shivananda Reddy, who was attached to the Indian Army&#8217;s Maratha Light Infantry and was injured during the Kargil War, is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital, sources said.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"4\"\/>The incident allegedly occurred on August 29 when Reddy attempted to meet Parameshwara and seek his intervention in securing the land promised to him by the government. However, he was reportedly blocked by senior police officers from meeting the deputy chief minister.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"9\"\/>Reddy had been promised a land grant in his native Chintamani in Karnataka&#8217;s Chikkaballapur district in recognition of his service.
