Although he briefly demitted office in 2014, he returned as chairman in November of the same year and has remained in the post since then.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"16\"\/>The petitioners have also sought an audit of the BCI&#8217;s financial affairs and those of the BCI-PEARL FIRST TRUST.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"18\"\/>The Supreme Court&#8217;s direction came amid the petitions questioning Mishra&#8217;s prolonged continuation at the helm of the country&#8217;s apex statutory body governing the legal profession.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><br
