He had earlier resigned as tribal welfare minister in June 2024 when the controversy surrounding the alleged scam first surfaced.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"16\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2><b>Pressure after cabinet re-induction<\/b><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"18\"\/>Nagendra was re-inducted into the cabinet on August 3 and given the planning and statistics portfolio. Just two days ago, he had dismissed media reports claiming that he had offered to step down.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"42\"\/>His resignation on Friday comes amid renewed political
