The model has been introduced with both pure-electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains.<!-- --> The Hector Tomahawk EV comes at a starting price of Rs 19.49 lakh, ex-showroom.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"3\"\/>The Hector Tomahawk EV is also available under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) programme, with prices starting at Rs 13.99 lakh + Rs 4.90\/km battery rental. The PHEV BaaS price starts at Rs 21.79 lakh + Rs 3.20\/km battery rental, for a limited number of bookings. Here\u2019s a quick look at all the details you should know. Bookings are now open, with EV deliveries starting in September 2026. <!-- -->PHEV test drives and deliveries will begin in November 2026.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"8\"\/><span class=\"strong\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\">MG Hector Tomahawk<\/span><span class=\"strong\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\"> EV: Details <\/span><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"11\"\/>The EV uses a 69.2 kWh battery paired with a permanent magnet synchronous motor producing 150 kW and 310 Nm. It has a claimed 517 km rangeand supports 90 kW DC fast charging. The EV is available in both five- and seven-seat layouts.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"13\"\/>MG has also equipped the SUV with 18 connected apps, along with what the company describes as India&#8217;s first Gen AI with karaoke. The SUV measures 4,745 mm in length,1,850 mm in width and 1,770 mm in height, with a 2,810 mm wheelbase. It gets a 15.6-inch HD display for infotaiment, 8.0-inch driver&#8217;s display, Level 2 ADAS and i-SMART 3.0 with more than 80 connected features.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"17\"\/>The Hector Tomahawk is the first MG model in India to be based on the company&#8217;s ADAPT platform, or Advance Drive Architecture Platform Technology. The architecture has been developed to support multiple electrified powertrains, including pure EVs, series hybrids, parallel hybrids and direct-engine-drive configurations.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"20\"\/>In terms of design, the Hector Tomahawk gets a large and upright SUV profile. MG says the styling draws inspiration from an iconic Allied fighter aircraft used during World War II. The SUV features a long bonnet, high ground clearance, prominent wheel arches and muscular bodywork.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"23\"\/>At the front, it gets parallel, opposite-facing LED DRLs with rectangular headlamps. The side profile features chunky body cladding and diamond-cut alloy wheels.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"26\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h3>MG Hector Tomahawk: EV and plug-in hybrid<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p>The Hector Tomahawk has been unveiled with both EV and plug-in hybrid powertrain options. The electric version offers a claimed 517 km range, while the plug-in hybrid version gives 115 km of pure electric range. The PHEV combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine, dedicated hybrid transmission and a 20.5 kWh battery. Overall, it offers over 1,100 km range using both a fully charged battery and one full fuel tank.
