Amway confirmed that it had removed the word &#8220;Energy&#8221; from its product artwork, website and promotional materials.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"16\"\/>FSSAI said Amway had clarified that the descriptor was originally adopted in good faith following an FSSAI advisory issued in March 2024. The company said revised packaging would take effect from the next production cycle in August 2026.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"20\"\/>Amway also requested permission to sell existing stock carrying the earlier artwork until the inventory was exhausted in the ordinary course of trade, while the revised packaging is introduced.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"22\"\/>In a separate case, FSSAI said Amway had also removed the term &#8220;100%&#8221; from its product name &#8220;100% Pure Coconut Oil&#8221;, citing violations related to food labelling and advertising claims.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"24\"\/>The company submitted a compliance response confirming that it had removed the claim from its packaging and promotional material and discontinued old stock from sales channels.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"27\"\/>Revised packaging has been finalised and is in production, with the new packaging expected to be rolled out progressively from September-October 2026, along with updated website listings.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"29\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2><b>Juza Foods agrees to remove baby food claims<\/b><\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"31\"\/>FSSAI also highlighted action taken by Juza Foods, Malappuram, Kerala, over multiple claims made for its baby food products.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"33\"\/>The regulator listed claims including &#8220;pure&#8221;, &#8220;natural&#8221;, &#8220;traditional&#8221;, &#8220;no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives&#8221; and &#8220;Your baby&#8217;s 1st taste of Real Nutrition&#8221;.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"36\"\/>It also flagged health claims such as products being &#8220;ideal for sensitive babies&#8221;, &#8220;easy to digest&#8221;, offering &#8220;better absorption&#8221;, and helping to &#8220;boost immunity&#8221; and &#8220;support stronger bones&#8221;.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"38\"\/>FSSAI also cited claims including &#8220;100% Ragi&#8221;, &#8220;100% vegan&#8221;, &#8220;100% Kerala Banana powder&#8221; and &#8220;100% sweet potato powder&#8221;, along with comparative claims that the products contained &#8220;10X the calcium of wheat and rice&#8221; and &#8220;3X the calcium of Milk&#8221;.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"41\"\/>The regulator further said the company had been conducting its food business through an online website without having e-commerce listed as a Kind of Business in its licence.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"43\"\/>Juza Foods acknowledged the violations and agreed to remove the misleading claims, FSSAI said.
