These include Nestle India, PepsiCo, Abbott India Ltd, Red Bull India, Danone India, Monster Energy India Pvt Ltd, Hell Energy Pvt Ltd, Mondelez India, Coca-Cola India, Diageo, Pernod Ricard, Ferrero India and Kenvue Inc.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"12\"\/>Over the past few months, the FSSAI said it has taken action against various food business operators (FBOs) over serious violations of food safety laws and regulations.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"14\"\/>The regulator has also cracked down on energy drink and alcoholic beverage makers.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"17\"\/>Elaborating on its recent enforcement actions, the FSSAI said it has seized products from several companies over violations.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"19\"\/>As many as 12 notices have been issued to e-commerce companies Amazon and Flipkart.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"22\"\/>&#8220;One Amazon warehouse license has also been cancelled,&#8221; it said.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"24\"\/>The FSSAI said more than 30 notices have been issued to food service establishments, including KFC, McDonald&#8217;s, Pizza Hut, Domino&#8217;s and Costa Coffee.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"26\"\/>It has also suspended five licences of Domino&#8217;s.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"28\"\/>Last year, the regulator issued notices to several five-star hotels as well.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"30\"\/>Earlier this week, the FSSAI said many companies had started taking corrective action following the notices issued against them.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"32\"\/><span class=\"em\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\">(With Agency Inputs)<\/span><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/city\/delhi\/fssai-issues-over-150-notices-to-food-brands-over-misleading-ads-false-claims-labelling-non-compliance\/articleshow\/133426861.cms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Source link <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The regulator has cracked down on energy drink and alcoholic beverage makers.
