Leon Draisaitl is one of the NHL<\/a>\u2019s most recognizable stars thanks to his success with the Edmonton Oilers, but his life away from the rink has also drawn increasing interest. Leon Draisaitl married Canadian actress and model Celeste Desjardins. Desjardins, who is originally from Sudbury, Ontario, has an entertainment career that includes credits like Taken, Fashionably in Love and other television and film projects. Through her relationship with Draisaitl, she\u2019s also remained close to the hockey world.At first, the couple was pretty private about their relationship. The pair went public with their relationship in 2018 and were engaged in July 2024, with Draisaitl proposing during a seaside moment in Mallorca, Spain. Desjardins said the proposal was an easy yes, while Draisaitl celebrated the occasion with a simple \u201cForever\u201d message.<\/p>\n

Draisaitl was taken third overall in the 2014 NHL Draft by the Edmonton Oilers and has played his entire NHL career with the Oilers.
