The deceased was identified as Rajiv Acharya.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"2\"\/>The embassy said Israeli authorities are investigating to establish the \u201cfull facts and circumstances\u201d of the incident, while it remains in contact with the authorities and is monitoring the case.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"4\"\/>\u201cThe Embassy of India is deeply saddened by the tragic death of Indian national, Mr Rajiv Acharya, in Israel,\u201d the mission said in a post on X on Wednesday.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"6\"\/>The mission did not disclose the cause of Acharya\u2019s death or provide further details about the incident.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"10\"\/><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"12\"\/>Expressing condolences to Acharya\u2019s family, the embassy said, \u201cThe Embassy extends its deepest condolences to the bereaved family and stands ready to provide all possible assistance.\u201d<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"14\"\/>It added, \u201cThe Embassy will continue to closely monitor the case and remain in contact with the concerned authorities.\u201d<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"16\"\/>The development comes amid continuing tensions in West Asia. The embassy has not indicated whether the incident was connected to the broader regional situation.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"19\"\/>Earlier this month, Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said India and Israel would continue to strengthen their ties after a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"21\"\/>\u201cThank you, my friend, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.
