The actor has a dual citizenship of US and Combodia. With twins Knox and Vivienne turning 18 this month, Jolie will no longer face the same custody-related restrictions that kept her based in the US. However, her Los Feliz mansion remains on the market after being listed for nearly $29.85 million in May.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"4\"\/>According to property listings, the estate is still available for sale. <!-- -->A source told the Daily Mail that Jolie expected the process to take time because of the slow luxury housing market in Los Angeles, but the delay has still been frustrating. \u201cShe wants to get away from Los Angeles and her memories there with her ex Brad Pitt. Her heart belongs to Cambodia,\u201d the source added.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"18\"\/>Spread across about 0.8 hectares, the estate includes a swimming pool, pool house, guesthouse, tea house and arched fountains. <!-- -->The home also features several living rooms, a library, a wood-panelled dining room and a farmhouse-style kitchen. Jolie bought the property in 2017 for around $25 million after separating from Pitt, who also owned a home nearby. <span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"22\"\/>The actress first hinted at leaving Los Angeles during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in 2024. \u201cI grew up in this town,\u201d Jolie said. \u201cI am here because I have to be here from a divorce, but as soon as they\u2019re 18, I\u2019ll be able to leave.\u201d <!-- -->\u201cWhen you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety,\u201d she added.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"26\"\/>Jolie also said she expected to spend significant time in Cambodia in the future while continuing to travel to visit family members around the world. She has previously described Cambodia as a place that feels like home to her. Jolie also plans to keep a base in New York City, where she has friends and continues to work through her fashion and creative venture, Atelier Jolie.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"30\"\/>The property at the centre of the delay is one of Los Angeles&#8217; most notable historic homes. According to Realtor.com, the six-bedroom estate was built in 1913 and was once owned by legendary filmmaker Cecil B.
