The increase was aided not only by the Independence Day holiday weekend but also by a rise in the number of shows. \u2018Awarapan 2\u2019 had 9,033 shows on its opening day, which increased to 10,496 on Saturday.The momentum eased on Sunday as the number of shows dropped to 9,403. Consequently, the film registered a decline in collections and earned Rs 26 crore on its first Sunday. On Monday, the expected post-weekend drop was visible, but the film continued to maintain a respectable pace, collecting Rs 9.25 crore.With this, \u2018Awarapan 2\u2019 has taken its India net total to Rs 91 crore. The film has also comfortably moved ahead of \u2018Batwara 1947\u2019 at the box office.According to reports, \u2018Awarapan 2\u2019 has been made on a budget of Rs 45 crore.
