Epic Games has officially released the Override trailer, giving players a proper look at everything coming in the next season.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"2\"\/>From a stacked Gaming Legends Battle Pass to brand-new weapons, map overhauls, and fresh Sprites, there is an enormous amount to unpack ahead of the August 20 launch. In the section below, we provide you with everything we know so far about Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Override.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"4\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h2>Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 downtime and release<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n<p>The Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 update is set to release on August 20, 2026. The downtime for the v42.00 update will start at 2 AM ET, and it will likely run for around 6 hours.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"10\"\/>You are advised to complete your Season 3 quests and Sprite collection well before the servers go offline.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"12\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h3>Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Pass<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p>Epic Games provided us with a glance at the characters of the upcoming Battle Pass as part of the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 trailer. It is worth noting that Sonic and Geno are the only two skins that we currently know by name. Besides them, the following skins will be arriving:<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"16\"\/><\/p>\n<div class=\"cdatainfo   id-r-component \" data-pos=\"17\">\n<ul>\n<li>Soldier<\/li>\n<li>Warrior (having a Sword and Shield)<\/li>\n<li>Fighter Skin (themed on Street Fighter)<\/li>\n<li>Kart Racer Girl<\/li>\n<li>Tetris Skin<\/li>\n<li>Another original Chapter 7 Season 4 Skin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>A new Fortnite Sidekick will also arrive with the Override Pass.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"20\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h3>Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 map changes<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p>A few POIs will be removed in Chapter 7 Season 4, while others will remain. The POIs being removed are Calamari Canyon, Frosted Flats, and Sinister Strip. The new POIs being added are Geno&#8217;s HQ, Sonic Green Hills Zone, Temple, Spire, and Pac-Man Island.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"23\"\/>All of the new POIs will be around the Spire that has replaced the Zero Point. It is worth noting that no biomes are being removed, and a brand-new biome has spawned in the centre of the map.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"26\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h3>All new Sprites in <keyword id=\"38190427\" type=\"Denny\" weightage=\"20\" keywordseo=\"Fortnite-Override\" source=\"keywords\">Fortnite Override<\/keyword><\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p>Eight new Sprites will be part of the Override lineup. The complete list includes Bushranger, Sonic, Tails, Jazz Jackrabbit, Klombo, Killswitch, Crown, and one unknown Sprite. Based on the trailer, it is now known that the Tails Sprite will enable you to glide in the air.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"30\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h3>All new weapons and items in Fortnite Override<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p>Epic Games will introduce new gear to the Fortnite loot pool in Chapter 7 Season 4, all based on the Gaming Legends theme. The new weapons include the 8-Bit Shotgun, the HJSH-18 Masamune Assault Rifle, and the TKI-20 Shingen SMG.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"34\"\/>The HJSH-18 Masamune and TKI-20 Shingen are going to be based on the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners collab.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"36\"\/>Speaking of the items side, three new collab items will be available from August 20: the Sonic Spin Dash Mythic, the Tetriminos Junk Rift, and the Mega Man Mythic.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"38\"\/>The Sonic Spin Dash will let you run swiftly. The Tetriminos Junk Rift will work similarly to the Junk Rift and summon Tetris blocks.
