According to the FIR, Rama was allegedly subjected to harassment and physical assault by her husband after their marriage.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"8\"\/>On the intervening night of August 13 and 14, at around 4am, Ram Chand was informed that Singh had called to say Rama had fallen from the roof of their house and had been taken to the Civil Hospital in Hajipur.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"10\"\/>Ram Chand and other family members rushed to the hospital, where they found Rama dead.
