As he balances life as an ex-NFL quarterback, husband and father of four, Wilson says his kids continue to shape the way he approaches both his career and his work away from the field.<\/p>\n Russell Wilson opened up about fatherhood while attending the Macy\u2019s x Rookie Kids \u201cRunway on Broadway\u201d event in New York City. The occasion gave him a chance to talk about something much more personal than football.For Wilson, his children are a constant source of motivation.“My kids inspire me, it’s just their passion and love every day. I get to do what I love to do \u2014 that’s play football and do my day job, and try to do it really, really well,” Wilson said.That mindset says plenty about how the veteran quarterback views his role.
