While, flat booking begins on August 15, 2026 (Photo: Agencies)<\/span><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The Delhi Development Authority recently released a list of 1,224 ready-to-move flats under the &#8220;DDA Karmajeevi Awaas Yojana 2026&#8221;, with a flat 25% discount across all categories.<!-- --> The flats are located in Pocket 11, Sector A1 to A4, Narela, North-West Delhi.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"3\"\/>With accommodations allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis, the scheme is designed for &#8220;Karmajeevis&#8221;, a term covering two categories:<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"5\"\/>1. Serving\/Retired regular and permanent personnel of Central\/State Government, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, Public Sector Banks, Local Bodies, Government Universities and Hospitals.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"7\"\/>2. Professionally qualified persons, such as doctors, lawyers, chartered accountants, architects, planners, engineers, scientists and teachers.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"11\"\/>To avail a flat, the applicant must be an Indian citizen, who has attained the age of majority.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"13\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h3> <b>The flats<\/b><b\/><\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p>Out of the 1,224 units, 384 are 1-BHK flats (Block Y), 432 are 2-BHK flats (Blocks A, B and C), and 408 are 3-BHK flats (Blocks Q, R and S).<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"16\"\/>Plinth areas range from roughly 60-61 sqm for 1-BHK units to 164-184 sqm for 3-BHK units. Booking amounts are Rs. 50,000 for a 1-BHK, Rs. 4,00,000 for a 2-BHK, and Rs. 10,00,000 for a 3-BHK flat, adjustable against the final price but non-refundable on cancellation.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"19\"\/>There is no restriction on already owning property, and multiple flats across categories may be purchased.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"21\"\/><\/p>\n<p><h3><b>Timeline and process<\/b><\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"strong\" data-ua-type=\"1\" onclick=\"stpPgtnAndPrvntDefault(event)\"\/><span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"24\"\/>Registration for the scheme opened on July 24, 2026 via DDA&#8217;s Awaas Portal. It requires a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,500. While, flat booking begins on August 15, 2026.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"27\"\/>Once a flat is selected, the applicants will be given a 15-minute window to deposit the booking amount online.
