Who ordered this and for what purpose? to intimidate his family and claimed that the action was being carried out at the behest of the Union government.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"14\"\/>Das questioned whether visiting his family home and questioning his relatives was part of the legal procedure, and sought clarity on the reasons behind the police action.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"16\"\/>\u201cIf the intention is to intimidate me into silence, it will not work,\u201d Das said, adding that the incident would instead strengthen his resolve to push for what he described as a better system in which police \u201cuphold the law\u201d.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"18\"\/>Das also accused the police of acting like \u201cgoondas\u201d and said the alleged action was inconsistent with the character of the Puducherry government.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"20\"\/>Reacting to the same, TMC MP Mahua Moitra in an X post wrote, &#8220;Welcome to BJP land Dear\u2026.
