Tiwari also levelled the allegations in a social media video posted on August 6, in which he appeared alongside his daughter.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"6\"\/>According to the complaint lodged at Reusa police station, Tiwari\u2019s daughter Pragya married Prakhar Trivedi, son of Anuj Trivedi and a resident of Chandrawal in Mishrikh, in 2024.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"10\"\/>The MLA alleged that before the marriage, Anuj Trivedi had portrayed himself as a prominent real estate businessman based in Mumbai and concealed his alleged criminal history and previous cases.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"12\"\/>The complaint stated that the marriage was finalised after local inquiries and favourable feedback from people regarded as influential in the area.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"14\"\/>However, around two-and-a-half years after the marriage, the family came across information on social media and through other sources about Prakhar Trivedi\u2019s alleged activities.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"17\"\/>Tiwari alleged that Prakhar had duped several women across different states, including Maharashtra, of crores of rupees by allegedly luring them into relationships while using fake identities. He further alleged that Prakhar had been involved in around 25 marriages.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"20\"\/>The MLA said he had severed all social and personal ties with the accused family and brought his daughter back home. He alleged that the episode had caused deep trauma to his family and affected his social standing as a public representative.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"23\"\/>Following Tiwari\u2019s complaint, Reusa police registered a case against Anuj Trivedi on charges of cheating and initiated legal proceedings, officials said.<span class=\"id-r-component br\" data-pos=\"25\"\/>In a social media video, Tiwari alleged that his family had been cheated and demanded strict punishment for Anuj Trivedi, including the death penalty.
